Ilsur Metshin meets with Pakistani Ambassador to Russia
(KZN.RU, August 19, by Taisiya Basharkina) Mayor of Kazan Ilsur Metshin met with Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan to the Russian Federation Alamgir Babar. This is the Ambassador's first official visit to the capital of Tatarstan.
The sides discussed further cooperation between Kazan and cities of Pakistan. The Kazan Mayor expressed hope for a more active cooperation not only in business and economics, but also in sports and culture. Mr. Alamgir Babar thanked the Mayor of Kazan for the warm welcome and noted great potential for the development of relations between Pakistan and the Republic of Tatarstan.
