(KZN.RU, December 26, by Ekaterina Andreyeva) State Council Deputies endorsed the candidacy of Alexei Pesoshin as the first vice-premier of the Republic of Tatarstan. This was stated by Mayor of Kazan Ilsur Metshin at his traditional New Year's eve meeting with journalists.
Kazan Mayor Ilsur Metshin noted that Alexei Pesoshin's appointment to the new post was "a great honor" for the Mayor's team and for the Executive Committee. "Undoubtedly, this is an appreciation of the municipality, the Executive Committee as a whole and Alexei Valeryevich as a leader personally". The head of the city also praised Alexei Pesoshin as a highly skilled organizer.
