Ilsur Metshin heads February media rating of Volga Region leaders
(KZN.RU, March 12). By the end of February 2014, Mayor of Kazan Ilsur Metshin had again taken first place among the heads of the Volga Federal District capitals in the media rating of the "Medialogia" information-analytical system.
The rating is based on the analysis of about 13,000 of the most influential media sources: TV, radio, newspapers, magazines, news agencies and online media. It includes the current heads of administration of the Volga Federal District capitals.
Ilsur Metshin’s February media index was 2094.91 points.
According to the compilers of the rating, Ilsur Metshin’s lead was largely due to his participation in a charity concert of the State Symphony Orchestra of the Republic of Tatarstan, marking the International Childhood Cancer Day. Recall that Mayor of Kazan Ilsur Metshin, along with actress Nafisa Khairullina, read the symphonic fairy tale "The Nutcracker" at the invitation of Maestro Alexander Sladkovsky. In addition, Ilsur Metshin instructed the Environment Council to obtain 10-15 million rubles from the budget and extrabudgetary sources to improve the green area around Lake Kharovoye by the Day of the City.
