(KZN.RU, March 18). Construction of an energy-efficient apartment house has been launched in Kazan's Kirov District. A capsule with highly effective building materials that will be used in the building was laid yesterday.
The event was attended by President of the Republic of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov, CEO of the state corporation Fund for Assistance to Improving Housing and Communal Services Tsitsin Constantine, chairman of the supervisory board of the state corporation Sergei Stepashin, Mayor of Kazan Ilsur Metshin; Minister of Construction, Architecture Housing and RTHousing Services and Utilities Irek Faizullinand Deputy Chairman of RT State Council Alexander Gusev.
It is planned to use a wide range of energy-saving technologies in the construction: a weather adjustment system, ventilation with heat recovery, geothermal heat pump using ground heat exchangers, energy efficient glazing and insulated walls, LED lighting, solar panels and individual power supply adjustment. Energy consumption in energy-efficient residential buildings is up to 60 % less than normal. The annual heat demand in an energy-efficient home cannot exceed 15 kWh per square meter.
It is expected that the tenants of the first energy-efficient house in Tatarstan will receive the keys before the end of this year. According to Sergei Stepashin, there are 52 such homes in Russia today. He also expressed the hope that Tatarstan would soon become a leader in the Russian Federation in the number of energy-efficient homes constructed, according to the press service of the President of the Republic of Tatarstan.
