In Kazan on the forefront of development moved up the road infrastructure
Today in Kazan City Hall deputy transport minister Oleg Belozerov, head of the Federal road agency "Rosavtodor" Anatoly Chabunin, minister of transport and road management of RT Gennady Emelianov and the Mayor of Kazan Ilsur Metshin discussed the development of the road system of the Tatarstan capital until 2013.
Recall that at the threshold of the Universiade in Kazan it is planned to build 15 road junctions and not less than 60 km of new roads. At the end of 2009 for this purpose has been allocated 3 billion rubles, that allowed to begin a roadwork on the most significant objects.
Prior to the meeting participants of it have passed on under construction objects of the Universiade and the most important highways of Kazan. Managers of federal road agencies were interested in not only the existing transport infrastructure of the city, but also in future changes in the movement of municipal transport.
Making a round Oleg Belozerov and Anatoly Chabunin acquainted with the construction of a two-level traffic intersection at Amirkhan and Yamashev avenues and also with the plot of the Big Kazan ring from Nesmelov street to Decembrists street.
The project of the traffic intersection at Amirkhan and Yamashev avenues provides 4 lanes - 2 in each direction. The bridge structure will consist of 5 spans of supports, construction of which is practically completed. Are currently ongoing preparatory work for the construction of the overpass, which will build on technology used in the construction of Millennium Bridge.
In parallel the construction of pedestrian subway is being done, in which 4 more exits to a crossroads are not made yet.
Participants visited the intersection of Lenskaya and the Decembrists streets, where is the construction of three-level road junction: on the ground under the Decembrists street will be an underground line, way above the tunnel will be laid on the road of Lenskaya street passing on Yamashev avenue and at the present level remains Decembrists street.
Construction of new road which runs from Serov street to Decembrists street is already almost completed. New road from Lenskaya street to Yamashev avenue will be equipped with 6 lanes, on two of them tram lines will be laid.
Mayor of Kazan offered together with the completion of the road in the Big Kazan ring pave the line for high-speed tram. If it will be possible to "girdle" tram lines on a new route, inhabitants of all Kazan can use this kind of electrotransport.
This idea was approved by deputy transport minister Oleg Belozerov. "... Very interesting option offered the Mayor. For realisation of this project it is necessary to count all. Solution of transport problems in Kazan will improve a life in a city and will support the Russian manufacturers», - the deputy minister of transport of the Russian Federation has noted.
