On behalf of the Mayor's Office, cabinets for birth registration must appear in all seven maternity clinics of Kazan. To run the program it is necessary to have an access to the Internet, and it has not been yet in 4 clinics of Kazan, Albina Shavaleeva,the Head of the Civil Status Registration Departmenthas told today at the Business Monday.

Registration of a child with a birth certificate and medical insurance policy in maternity clinics is very convenient, Ilsur Metshin said, though, in his opinion, the service has the drawback: mothers could give a name to a newborn without the father’s consent. However there have not been such problems in the registering practice, Albina Shavaleeva said.
