(KZN.RU, July 8, Zilya Gayfi). Over 130,000 tickets of the competition of the world championship Aquatics-2015 sold in Kazan, which is 30% of the total number of tickets. The most popular among residents and guests of the capital of Tatarstan, along with the opening and closing ceremonies, are the competition in water polo, synchronized swimming, diving, high-diving, swimming in open water, as well as the show "Pilgrim." Russian viewers purchased more than 100 thousand tickets. Foreigners also show interest in the championship in Kazan - today foreign guests bought 16,000 e-tickets. The Mayor of Kazan Ilsur Metshin praised today the progress in sales in a branded office of FINA at the metro station "Yashlek", he came to the point of sales by metro from station "Kremlin". The head of the city bought tickets to the finals of the competition in water polo.

Corporate offices of FINA Cup 2015 opened in the most popular places of the city and directly at the sites of the championship.

Championships in Kazan are interesting for everybody, especially the family audience.

Ilsur Metshin stressed that the championship is a unique opportunity to exploit the potential of the city to attract future tourists. But Kazan residents are the main guests of the championship. It is important to do everything to ensure that the maximum number of residents will see the contests. "All kinds of sports, of course, are interesting. The demand for tickets is good. Prices range pleases: the bottom base of 50 rubles is the same as during the Universiade. To see the championship for this price is a great success. People fly across the ocean to watch the championship of Aquatics sports. And we are living in Kazan just have to use this moment "- said the Mayor.

Recall, the World Championships in Aquatics will be held in Russia for the first time. The decision to hold the World Cup-2015 in Kazan was announced July 15, 2011 at the General Congress of FINA, held in Shanghai - the city which hosted the World Cup XIV FINA 2011. Apart from Kazan to host the competition claimed: Guadalajara (Mexico), Hong Kong, Guangzhou (China) and Montreal (Canada).

It is expected that the championship will be attended by 3,000 athletes from 190 countries and 6,000 visitors. For comparison: in the previous championship in Barcelona were 2223 athletes from 177 countries. Multi-billion TV viewers will see the World Championships in Aquatics. The rights to broadcast the World Cup on TV were bought in 81 of the 107 countries of the world.
