Ilsur Metshin congratulated Alexander Sladkovsky on the anniversary

Ilsur Metshin noted that the name of Alexander Sladkovsky and the State Symphony Orchestra is widely known outside of the city and the republic. "I warmly congratulate you personally on the jubilee, and the orchestra - with the opening of the 50th season. No major event in Kazan, whether the Universiade, the Day of the city and the republic or Sabantuy can be held without you. Especially I want to thank you for the attention you pay to children and youth. You educate a whole generation of young talents. I am proud that multi-faceted personalities live in Kazan. You are the leader of the orchestra, but your activities are outside the scope of the music scene. People speak and write about Kazan, take our city as an example and move to live here - this is your merit too. State Symphony Orchestra of Tatarstan is one of the facets of a precious stone called "Kazan" - said the Mayor.

Alexander Sladkovsky, in his turn, thanked the city head for confidence and the opportunity to represent the cultural capital of Kazan. "Anniversary is a good exciting event. Today I understand that the greatest achievement of my life was the move to Kazan. Today I feel genuine happiness and joy that I live in this city. I am pleased to be not only a witness, but a participant of many events taking place in Kazan. Such an attitude to me personally and to the orchestra is priceless, "- said the head of the SSO RT.

At the end of the meeting Ilsur Metshin and Alexander Sladkovsky exchanged gifts.
