(Kazan City KZN.RU, October 23, Ksenia Shvetsova). Mayor Ilsur Metshin praised the work of the renewed teenage club "Sneakers", located in the Moskovsky district. The club, which bore the name "Elektron" previously, was opened after a complete renovation in September of this year. The Mayor visited the classes, classrooms and talked with the pupils of the club.
"When I was a child, we always were in youth clubs at the free time - shared Ilsur Metshin with pupils. – I am very happy that we revive this tradition. We must have such institutions in which children are able to do their favorite things after school: hockey, football, journalism, chess. We want the experience of past years revived in Kazan".
100 million rubles has been allocated by the Decree of the Cabinet of Ministers of RT to renovate youth clubs this year. Under these program five clubs of Kazan - "Start", "Koyash Nury," "Sneakers", "Boxing" and "Ephebia" – were renovated at total 38.3 million rubles. In addition furniture and equipment were purchased at 2.5 million rubles.
Reconstruction lasted from January in the club "Sneakers," which in the past was called "Elektron". By August the club was completely renovated, and since September classes have already started there. As the club's director Diane Faizova told the Mayor, an unusual approach is used in teaching children: the premise is decorated in such a way that each of the five classrooms painted in its "own" color. "The colors were chosen for the psychological effect on a person - says Diana Faizova. - For example, orange and yellow are bright colors that enhance the activity; it was used for sports block. A green and blue increase brain activity, “intelligent” block was painted in these colors".
Mayor visited the blue room in which classes on journalism are held one of the first. Here he answered the questions of future journalists and wished the children success in the future.
"Try to be the best in any profession. Everyone cannot be banker, lawyer or prosecutor. Choose any profession, no matter what - a photographer, a musician, a driver of a trolley bus - and become the best in it", - I. Metshin wished to the children. By the way, his visit to the club "Sneakers" coincided with the birthday of one of the young pupils, who received a gift from the Mayor and the words of congratulations.
In addition to the overhaul, in the yard, where the youth club is located, by the numerous requests of the residents improvement works were conducted, playground with swings was installed. Looking around the surrounding area, Ilsur Metshin met with the locals, who thanked him for the accomplishment of the district.
