(Kazan City KZN.RU, December 10). Today awards ceremony of XI competition "Fifty best innovative ideas for the Republic of Tatarstan" is held in Kazan. The ceremony is attended by President of the Republic of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov, Tatarstan Prime Minister Ildar Khalikov, Mayor of Kazan Ilsur Metshin.
Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov will open the award ceremony - he will present awards to the winners in the nomination "Perspective". Also authors of the best ideas in the category of "Socially significant innovation" will receive well-deserved awards from the hands of the Prime Minister of Tatarstan Ildar Khalikov.
The contest "Fifty best innovative ideas for the Republic of Tatarstan" is held since 2004. It takes place in eight categories: "Perspective", "Innovations in Education", "Start of innovation", "Nanoimpuls", "Projects of the Association of innovative regions of Russia", "The best invention of the year", "Socially significant innovation", "Youth innovation project". Winners will receive prizes from 25 to 50 thousand rubles. The competition also provides expert selection of projects to promote the awards and scholarships from the partners of the competition.
This year the competition received a record number of applications - 2273. The highest number of applications recorded in the category "Start of innovation" and "Innovation in education", the press service of the Investment and Venture Fund of RT informs.
