Ilsur Metshin took part in the charity fair "Children - to children"

(Kazan City KZN.RU, December 12, Zilya Gayfi). New Year's charity fair "Children - to children" was held in high school №19 of the Privolzhsky district of Kazan. All funds will be used to purchase gifts for children from low-income families. Mayor of Kazan Ilsur Metshin, who visited the school with his family, participated in the fair. The head of the city bought New Year gifts and children crafts; tried sweetness prepared by students and made memorable photos with students in an instant photo booth.

All indifferent residents could take part in the fair and contribute to the good deed today thanks to the initiative of the students. Ilsur Metshin together with other participants of the fair - students, parents and teachers - walked around the mall that have been deployed in the largest rooms of gymnasium - sports hall and dining room. There a platform where master classes, fair and sale of handicrafts was placed. In the "kitchen of the world" the Mayor tried dishes prepared by pupils. Also fair lottery waited for all guests, and at the entrance to the school entertainment was organized. Ilsur Metshin praised the children for work and thanked for their active participation in the fair, noting that they help other children with their activities.

According to the director of gymnasium Niyaz Gafiyatullin, children themselves have proposed to hold a New Year charity fair.

By happy coincidence today, at the day of the fair, the students brought their gymnasium a victory in the Republican contest "Volunteer of the Year" in the category "Social Project". The victory of the gymnasium in the competition emphasizes the importance of charity events it holds. In addition, funds raised at fairs, are spent for specific purposes. "Our fair is held for the fourth time. In the past three fairs we managed to collect nearly 2 million rubles. We help children's orphanages, as well as Fund for Children with leukemia of Anzhela Vavilova – to equip a hospice. In May another large-scale fair is expected, it will bring together several educational institutions,"- one of the organizers of the fair, a student of 11^th grade of gymnasium №19 Diana Plotnikova shared the plans.

Numerous sponsors, including large and very small companies, cafes, shops, beauty salons, as well as such major facilities as the stadium "Kazan Arena" helped students to organize the action. Sports clubs also responded to students. So, the team of FC "Rubin" left autographs on a football ball, which has become one of the prizes, and the hockey club "Ak Bars" has given caps and form signed by players.

Recall, the first fair was held in the gymnasium №19 in the format of "Sabantuy" in 2014. Then the event was attended by about five thousand people. As a result, 550,000 rubles were collected; it was transferred to the fund of Anzhela Vavilova. With these funds one room at the Kazan children's hospice was fully equipped. In December 2014 students organized the "New Year Good Fair ", which allowed collecting 265 thousand rubles for the purchase of gifts to the rehabilitation center "April" and Derbyshkinsky orphanage. Since then the fairs have become regular and are held every six months. The third action allowed collecting a total 1 million rubles. All funds were also transferred to the fund of Anzhela Vavilova.
