I. Metshin takes part in a meeting of the District Council for Local Government
(Kazan City KZN.RU, December 15). Mayor Ilsur Metshin taking part in a joint meeting of the District Advisory Council on Local Government Development Association of legislators of the Federation and the Association of County cities of the Volga region, which takes place in these moments in Orenburg.
The meeting is held in Orenburg, chaired by presidential envoy in the Volga Federal District Mikhail Babich.
Participants of the workshop will discuss a number of topical issues. In particular, the agenda includes the question of implementation of the changes in the federal law on local self-government adopted in 2014-2015 in the regions of the Volga Federal District. During the discussion, the heads of the VFD cities will share experience in solving actual problems and will mark the problems, associated with the introduction of changes in the federal legislation, and the prospects for their solution.
In addition, within the framework of his working visit to Orenburg, Ilsur Metshin will hold a general meeting of the members of the Association of the Volga cities, chairman of which the Mayor of Kazan was elected in October 2014.
