Rustam Minnikhanov and Ilsur Metshin participated in the meeting of Board of Trustees of K(V)FU

(Kazan City KZN.RU, December 21). The development of medical education in the Kazan (Volga) Federal University and the establishment of the University Hospital were discussed today at the Board of Trustees of the University. The event was attended by President of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov, Mayor of Kazan Ilsur Metshin, Deputy Prime Minister - Minister of Education and Science of the Republic Engel Fattakhov, Minister of Health of the Republic of Tatarstan Adel Vafin and others.

Rector of K(V)FU Ilshat Gafurov told the audience about what was done in the high school since the last meeting, which took place June 16, 2014, reported on the current state of affairs in the institution and shared plans for the future.

I.Gafurov expressed hope that on January 1 University Hospital will start working as part of K(V)FU. RCH-2, emergency hospital №2 and city polyclinic №2, which represent a large-scale medical complex (24 buildings with a total area of ​​37.8 thousand sq.m) passed to the management of the university. According to the Minister of Health of Tatarstan Adel Vafin, this project will allow students not only to gain knowledge from textbooks, but also to participate in research.
