The meeting was attended by the Mayor of Kazan Ilsur Metshin, Chief of Staff of the President of the Republic of Tatarstan Asgat Safarov, Assistant to the President of RT Olesya Baltusova, prosecutor of Tatarstan Ildus Nafikov, the chief architect of Kazan Tatyana Prokofieva and others.

At the meeting projects of construction of new facilities on the streets Paris Commune, Moskovskaya, Tihomirnov, H.Taktash and others were presented. Tatarstan President clearly instructed to follow the work of builders and supervise that new buildings do not spoil the architecture of the city.

Separately Rustam Minnikhanov focused on the project of multi-level underground parking near the National Cultural Center "Kazan", which, according to him, should significantly relieve the city center from the cars. Assistant to the President of RT Olesya Baltusova, in turn, noted that the NCC "Kazan" is one of the favorite places for tourists, so during work it is necessary to ensure free access to the building and to hold clarification among the travel agencies and tour guides on access to the Museum of the Millennium of Kazan in the time of the construction works.

Rustam Minnikhanov reminded that all construction work in the historic center of Kazan should be agreed directly with the leadership of the republic. Also noting the workload of this area of ​​the city, he instructed the builders to develop the necessary measures to prevent traffic jams.

Then it was reported to Rustam Minnikhanov on the reconstruction of a number of historical sites, such as houses of Galeev and building of Kazan Youth Theater named after G.Kariev. RT President emphasized that they should meet the historical appearance.

Following the meeting, Rustam Minnikhanov has approved all the projects, but noted that the construction should begin only after consultation with the expert committee and the Office of Architecture and Urban Planning of the Executive Committee of Kazan, the press service of the President of the Republic of Tatarstan informs.
