I. Metshin attended the opening of the interactive museum in memory of Albert Kamaleev

(Kazan City KZN.RU, April 12, Kseniya Shvetsova). In the Sovietsky district of Kazan on the basis of the Center of education №178 an interactive museum in memory of honorary citizen of Kazan Albert Kamaleev opened. Bright personality, public figure, he headed Sovietsky district for 16 years and contributed greatly to its development. At the opening ceremony of the museum of Albert Kamaleev relatives and Mayor of Kazan Ilsur Metshin were invited.

Last year was the 75th anniversary of the birth of Albert Askharovich Kamaleev. The new museum set out to show the scale of this person. So, Kamaleev personally supervised the construction of the first in Kazan stadium with artificial ice, the construction of kindergartens, schools and hospitals in the new housing estates Azino-1, Azino-2. With his direct participation program of housing slum elimination was successfully implemented and reconstruction of old housing blocks. And in the 1990s under the leadership of A.Kamaleev district went to the experiment - then practically all the necessary service utilities were created – autonomous and independent of the city. Only the Sovietsky district in the capital of Tatarstan has its own road service. Getting acquainted with the materials presented in the museum, citizens can learn many interesting details not only about A.Kamaleev, but also about the development of Kazan.

Guests of the opening ceremony of museum showed an excerpt from the film "The Memory of the Heart", dedicated to A.Kamaleev, and Education Center students read poems and memories of outstanding Kazan residents. The Mayor visited the exhibition of the museum, which consists of three sections. Section "Origins" is devoted to biographies of our compatriot, section "I give my heart to people" tells of events and objects created under his leadership. In the section "Gift of destiny" the memories of colleagues and friends of A.Kamaleev are collected. Here are the documents, photographs, books, movies, video interviews and memories in print.

Students demonstrated the first visitors of the museum 3D-model of Sovietsky district within the boundaries of 1990, when Albert Askharovich became head of administration. Children told what objects on this layout owe their existence to a man, whose name the new museum has.

I. Metshin, who began his municipal service in 1993 in the administration of the Sovietsky district of Kazan, has congratulated the residents with the opening of the museum and talked to its creators and relatives of Albert Askharovich.

The event was also attended by Secretary of Security Council of RT Airat Shafigullin, deputy head of the Executive Committee on Social Affairs Natalia Grechannikova, Head of the Department of Education Ilsur Hadiullin, head of Sovietsky district Rustem Gafarov, head of Vakhitovsky and Privolzhsky districts Andrey Lobov and others.

Summary

Albert Askharovich Kamaleev was born June 9, 1940 in the workers' settlement Arsk of the Arsk district of Tatarstan. He began his career in 1957 as a turner, and then worked as an electrician, master of automobile economy of at Tatar motor trust in Kazan. After finishing the Kazan Institute of Chemical Technology has been appointed as the shift manager at Kazan Organic Synthesis Factory.

In 1973-1982 years A.Kamaleev was second secretary of the Sovietsky party committee of Kazan. In 1982-1989 he headed the Tatar Republican control of vocational education, then - the State Committee of the Tatar ASSR on vocational education. Since 1989 for 16 years A.Kamaleev headed the Sovietsky district of Kazan, first as the first secretary of the district party committee, then as the chairman of the District Council of People's Deputies, and from January 1992 – as the head of administration. He made a significant contribution to the development of economic potential and social infrastructure of the district and the whole Kazan.

Albert Askharovich Kamaleev repeatedly elected as deputy of the Republic of Tatarstan, people's deputy of the Kazan City Council. Labor merits of A.Kamaleev were highly appreciated. He was awarded the Order of Honor, "Sign of Honor", diplomas of the Presidium of the Supreme Soviet of the Tatar Autonomous Soviet Socialist Republic and the Republic of Tatarstan and medals. He was awarded the honorary title "Honored Builder of the Republic of Tatarstan", "Honorary Citizen of Kazan". In 2010 avenue in the central part of the Sovietsky district was named in his honor.
