Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov and Kazan Mayor Ilsur Metshin
visited the new Sandugach residential complex in Salavat Kupere. To date, the
occupation of the residential complex, which comprises 18 houses for 1,716
apartments, has been completed.
Construction of the Sandugach residential complex began in 2020 at the
expense of investments of the State Housing Fund of the Republic of Tatarstan.
Today, state employees and enterprises, young families, medical workers and
orphans live in the residential complex.
All apartments are equipped with hygiene equipment, electric stoves,
fire alarm sensors, water meters, electricity meters, heat regulators and an
automatic remote readout system.
As R.Minnikhanov was informed, the opinions of citizens were taken into
account when developing the concept of the residential complex. For example,
car-free yards were implemented for local residents. The yards were equipped
with playgrounds, sports and green areas. There are no noisy recreation areas
in the yards, they are located on a pedestrian boulevard with a length of 400
meters.
Tatarstan President got acquainted with the plan for further development
of the Salavat Kupere residential area. On an area of 6.5 hectares, it is
planned to build 104,000 square meters of housing for 2008 apartments.
