On October
1, the heating season started in Kazan. All educational and healthcare
facilities in the city are supplied with heat, as well as 5,054 out of 5,574
apartment buildings (which is 91% of the total). The remaining facilities will
be connected shortly. Iskander Giniyatullin, Deputy Head of the Executive Committee,
reported this at the Business Monday meeting.
“The heating
season is a test of resilience and a test of the professionalism of all the
specialists: from heat suppliers to employees of the property management
companies. The timely start of heating is a key indicator of the condition of
the housing infrastructure. Thanks to the workers heat is connected to apartment
buildings, social institutions, and city enterprises. To date, all inspections
and system pressure testing have been completed in more than 5,500 apartment
buildings. Special attention is paid to social infrastructure facilities. I hope
for smooth operation, so that the homes of the city’s residents are always warm
and cozy,” said Ilsur Metshin.
The heating
season started on October 1, but for social institutions – maternity hospitals,
hospitals, and kindergartens – the supply of heat began a week before. By the
beginning of October, 49 socially significant facilities had already been
supplied with heat. To date, 95% of the city’s social institutions have been
supplied with heat.
“After the
start of the heating season, adjustments to the hydraulic and temperature
parameters are carried out over a period of two weeks. The radiators throughout
the city will not heat up simultaneously; this requires time,” Iskander
Giniyatullin reminded.
The work of
the municipal commission for heat supply organizations continues. Currently,
all 125 boiler houses of Kazenergo, Kazan Heat Networks, all power plants,
district boiler houses of JSC Tatenergo, and 36 out of 45 departmental boiler
houses have already received readiness certificates.
