Ilsur Metshin meets with Turkey's new Consul General in Kazan
(KZN.RU, September 27, Alisa Rozanova) Today, Mayor of Kazan Ilsur Metshin met with the newly appointed Consul General of the Republic of Turkey in Kazan, Sabri Tunç Angılı. The meeting was held at the Executive Committee of Kazan.
The ninth Consul General since the opening of the Consulate General of the Republic of Turkey in Kazan, Sabri Tunç Angılı, took office in September.
Ilsur Metshin greeted the new Consul General on starting his duties in Tatarstan - the country that has had a long history of fruitful cooperation with the Republic of Turkey.
It will be recalled that the previous consul, Ahmed Akynty, began his work in the capital of Tatarstan in January 2011. In September 2012, he completed his diplomatic mission in Russia.
