(KZN.RU, April 19, by Alisa Rozanova) 66,368 tickets have been sold for the 27th Summer World University Games, of which some 40 thousand were sold to the sporting events, and the rest – to the opening and closing ceremonies. This was reported by Deputy Director General of the Kazan 2013 Executive Directorate Igor Sivov at a meeting of the Games Preparatory Headquarters.
"We are not selling tickets only for the sake of money,” said the head of the city. “We want the event to be attended by as many people as possible. "
"Our most important guests are the people of Kazan, the republic and our neighbors. We need to create good drive around the Games, as today's youth puts it, and carry out huge preparatory work," said I. Metshin.
