Over 23 thousand trees planted this fall within "Green Record" project
(KZN.RU, October 28, by Renat Shirmanov) Over 23,000 trees have been planted in Kazan this fall within the "Green Record" project. This was reported by the deputy head of the Executive Committee, Chairman of the Landscaping Committee Igor Kulyazhev at a Business Monday meeting.
"Some four thousand trees have been planted in a single week. Of these, 900 were planted by road network companies in the parks and squares, about two thousand – by various investors, others – by educational institutions and in the yards. Trees are planted in designated places," said Igor Kulyazhev.
Mayor of Kazan Ilsur Metshin recommended using the most of the remaining three weeks of favorable weather in order to implement the plan on greening.
