(KZN.RU, January 24, by Taisiya Basharkina). Denis Kalinkin became the new head of the Executive Committee of Kazan. This decision was taken in the course of the 30th session of the City Duma.
From among the three candidates, the Duma deputies considered the candidacy of Chief of Staff of the Executive Committee of Kazan, who until recently was Acting Head of the Executive Committee, as the most appropriate.
As a result of the open voting, Denis Kalinkin was supported by 42 MPs out of 44, one dissented and one abstained. Ilsur Metshin signed a contract with the new head of the Executive Committee of Kazan and wished him success.
