Ilsur Metshin thanks university presidents and 2013 Kazan Universiade ambassadors

(KZN.RU, January 25, by Taisiya Basharkina). Today, on the main student holiday – Tatiana's Day –  an awards ceremony following the 2013 Universiade was held in Kazan City Hall.

Kazan university presidents and members of the executive management "Kazan 2013" gathered in an informal get-together.

Mayor Ilsur Metshin thanked the ambassadors of the Summer Universiade for their active participation in preparation for and holding of the Summer Student Games in Kazan. " The ambassadors played a huge role during the bidding for the Universiade and during the preparation. We're proud of you, thank you very much!" said Ilsur Metshin.

Today, volleyball player Ekaterina Gamova, Kazan marksman Vasily Mosin, a lead singer of "Murakami " Dilara Vagapova, Russian synchronized swimmer Maria Kiseleva and opera singer Aida Garifullina were cited. The Mayor also thanked the university presidents of Kazan.

Ilsur Metshin expressed his gratitude for the work done and wished that the team spirit aimed at reaching new heights and victories be preserved.
