It is important that during this short remaining period the capital of Tatarstan, ensuring a high level of interagency cooperation, adequately prepares to meet the distinguished guests of the 2015 World Cup. Besides, we must make the most of the unique opportunity to demonstrate to the multibillion TV audience of the Water Championships the tourism potential of Kazan. This opinion was expressed by Mayor Ilsur Metshin during the weekly staff meeting.
Ilsur Metshin stressed the need to responsibly approach each issue arising in preparation for the 2015 World Cup. "It would seem that there's nothing new here: we did all this in preparation for the Universiade. But experience shows that the moment we say to ourselves: 'We know it, we know how,' systemic failures set in," warned the mayor.

The mayor also stressed the importance of promoting the brand of the city. "Many billions of TV viewers are going to watch the FINA World Championships. This is a unique opportunity to use our potential and attract future tourists. "We still have 100 days to do everything possible and impossible to prepare for the World Cup and welcome guests at the highest level," concluded the mayor.
