- Last week we witnessed the opening of the Olympic Games in Vancouver - said the Mayor of Kazan. - Our delegation and organizing committee of the Universiade 2013 took part in this event. We have our own goal - we are watching closely at how the present Olympic Games are spent, has already made notes on the opening ceremony, security of guests and athletes. After all we ought to think about how we will conduct our Universiade.
The Mayor reminded that last week the Prime Minister of Russia has signed a resolution on the allocation to Kazan almost 10 billion rubles for the construction of 27 objects of the Universiade. And work started everywhere.
- Each of the projects under construction will be a present for Kazan citizens, - said the head of the city.
Already determined that the accomplishment of the Universiade facilities will be engaged municipal unitary enterprise "Gorvodzelenhoz".
- I insist that all work was performed at the highest technical level, that nowhere in our lawns yard keepers watered with a hose. All these operations must be entrusted to the most modern equipment - instructed the Mayor of Kazan.
