In Kazan were named winners of the "Big Break".
Kazan festival of educational institutions "Big Break", held under the auspices of the Mayor's officer, for the third year brings together creative teams of schools and high schools in a single celebration of young talents.
April 6 at the scene of cultural and entertainment complex "Pyramid" was held the final stage of the festival - a gala concert, presenting the best items and performers. The Mayor of Kazan was invited at a gala concert as a guest of honor, after the first festival in 2008 was organized at the initiative of Ilsur Metshin.
"Three years ago this project started, bringing together all the children who attend schools of our city - the Mayor said. - For us it is unique, because for a long time there were not such festivals, since the collapse of the Soviet Union, when there were pioneers and the Komsomol. And children were constantly to compete in something. "Big Break" is a city-wide amateur art, where the children reveal their talents and learn to freely stand on the stage, to express themselves through creativity. And we discover our children completely from the other side".
The importance of this festival reinforced by the fact that Kazan is actively preparing for the Universiade 2013.
"For us as organizers and for me as Mayor on the eve of the Universiade is very important that we have involved in this celebration as much as possible for our youth, the younger generations - said Ilsur Metshin. - Today's program participants are those guys that for the Universiade may be students. At the opening ceremony of the Beijing Olympic Games were brought together more than 20 thousand people! We will win, if not by quantity, but by the quality. For one day not to prepare children, even if you have money, costumes. That event is a very important step, because thousands of children, students are expected to participate in the Universiade. And events such as "Student Spring", "Spring Drops", "Big Break" are a very good training".
