I. Metshin took part in the festivities on the occasion of the Day of the Prosecutor's Office

(Kazan City KZN.RU, January 12). Festive events dedicated to the Day of the Prosecutor's Office of the Russian Federation took place today at the Prosecutor's Office of the Republic of Tatarstan. The President of the Republic of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov, Chairman of the State Council of Tatarstan Farid Mukhametshin, Mayor Ilsur Metshin, Chief Federal Inspector in the Republic of Tatarstan Renat Timerzyanov, heads of public authorities, the judiciary and law enforcement, as well as veterans of the prosecution were honorary guests of the event.

President of the Republic of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov congratulated with the professional holiday of prosecutors. "Today, as almost three centuries ago, the prosecutor's office is one of the most trusted public institutions, - said the head of the republic. He recalled that the Prosecutor's Office of the Republic of Tatarstan has leading positions today in Russian Federation and serves as a source of manpower for the country.

"Characteristic features of the prosecutor’s office are to be open to the public, the willingness to engage in constructive dialogue. Due to the professionalism and hard work of prosecutors provide the compliance and fulfillment of law in the republic. The republic's leadership relates to the results of your work with great attention, - Rustam Minnikhanov said, addressing the participants of the event. - In the past year, together with the prosecutor’s office, we have successfully solved the problem of timely payment of wages and reduce of unemployment. As a result of prosecutorial inspections those who were not paying wages, were brought to justice, more than 350 million rubles were paid. Particular attention was paid to defrauded real estate investors. The authorities of prosecutor’s office adopted a series of measures in terms of supervision of the implementation of legislation in the field of participatory construction, 80 perpetrators – officials were brought to the charges. This year we'll continue to address this urgent social problem".

According to Rustam Minnikhanov, an important aspect of the republican prosecutor's office is the development and introduction of information-analytical system allowing detecting any form of illegal information on the Internet, including drugs, suicide, extremism, gambling, and child pornography.

"Systematic and consistent work to ease tensions of business entities continues. Measures to reduce checks and undue administrative burdens on business have been taken. I am convinced that all these measures will contribute to the development of small and medium enterprises", - said Rustam Minnikhanov.

"The current year has been declared the Year of water protection zones in the republic, - reminded the President of the Republic of Tatarstan. - I am sure that together with you and interdistrict environmental prosecutor's office we will create all conditions for rest of Tatarstan residents in our unique natural areas".

In conclusion he expressed his great appreciation to the entire staff of the Prosecutor's Office of Tatarstan for their invaluable contribution to strengthening the rule of law and ensuring social stability. Special thanks were addressed to the veterans who have devoted their entire life to the service.

Then Rustam Minnikhanov presented state awards of the Republic of Tatarstan, departmental awards, letters of appreciation to the distinguished employers of the Prosecutor’s Office, the press service of the President of the Republic of Tatarstan informs. The Prosecutor of the Republic of Tatarstan Ildus Nafikov also addressed the participants of the event with a welcome speech.
