(KZN.RU, March 18, Alina Berezhnaya). Kazan teachers took 6 out of 12 prizes by the results of the regional stage of the All-Russian competition “Teacher of the Year of Russia”. Ilnar Khidiyatov, the head of the Department of Education, told about the success of Kazan teachers at the competition today at the Business Monday.
The winners have been awarded on March 15. In total, 66 teachers participated in the regional stage, 21 of them are from Kazan.
Teachers of Kazan won prizes in 3 out of 4 competitive nominations: “Subject Teacher”, “Pedagogical Debut”, “Teacher of Tatar Language and Literature”, “Teacher of Pre-School Institutions”.
Anastasia Vorontsova, representing the kindergarten №50 of the Sovetsky district, won шn the nomination “Teacher of Pre-School Institutions”, second place went to Lyudmila Valeeva, a music teacher of the kindergarten №32 of the Privolzhsky district of Kazan.
Gulnara Nazipova, representing of the school №155 of the Novo-Savinovsky district, won in the nomination “Teacher of the Tatar Language and Literature”. The third place in the same nomination went to Gulnaz Akhtyamova from the school № 175 of the Sovetsky district.
Elena Tikhonova, a chemistry teacher of the school №78 “Farvater” of the Privolzhsky district, was in the top five in the nomination “Pedagogical Debut”. Artur Pakshin, a history and social studies teacher of the school №8 of the Sovetsky district, took the third place in the nomination “Subject Teacher”. Anna Gubaidullina, a teacher of the Russian language and literature of the school №179 of the Novo-Savinovsky district, was in the top five in the same nomination.
The absolute winner of the competition was Nail Mirsaitov, a biology teacher of the boarding school №2 of the Moskovsky district. This autumn, he will go to Grozny and represent Tatarstan at the Russian level. “2019 is the anniversary year for the contest “Teacher of the Year of Russia”, which has been held for 30 years on the initiative of the “Uchitelskaya Gazeta”. Today, we have to do everything necessary for the successful and productive performance of Nail Mirsaitov at the All-Russian Competition”, said I. Khidiyatov.
Ilsur Metshin, the Mayor of Kazan, noted that the professionalism of Kazan teachers is highly appreciated at the republican level from year to year. “Kazan teachers prove that they are the best in our republic. We need to exert maximum efforts and opportunities in order to win at the Russian stage of the competition”, he noted. Last year teachers from Kazan worthily entered the top-5 at the Russian stage of the competition “Teacher of the Year 2018”.
