Families of
volunteers and other military personnel participating in the special operation were
added to the list of persons to receive support measures. The Mayor of the city
Ilsur Metshin announced it at the Business Monday meeting today.
According to the
Mayor, one of the main tasks for today is to support the mobilized and their
families. In this regard, Kazan has introduced support measures. “There is no
difference for us – mobilized, volunteers or military personnel of other departments.
They will be covered by a single support measures program,”- the Mayor of Kazan
said. “I ask you to respond promptly to the appearance of new families, the
list should be updated daily. Everyone should be provided with the benefits we
have announced,”- Ilsur Metshin noted.
The Mayor reminded
that the children of the participants of the special military operation would
have free lunch in schools, attend kindergartens, and use public transport, visit
cultural and sports institutions.
The district
administrations of Kazan continue to provide targeted assistance to those in
need. “We stay in touch with the families of the mobilized on a daily basis.
District administrations help each specific family on various issues – from household
to financial. The amount of work is increasing, but we will fully implement it.
It is our duty,” - the Mayor of Kazan said.
In addition, citizens
can join in helping those in need. The humanitarian supply is being collected
at the special points, it is also possible to transfer funds to the Good Kazan
Foundation or become a volunteer.
