(KZN.RU, September 24) Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov made a tour of the historical center of Kazan. The head of the Republic was accompanied by Mayor of Kazan Ilsur Metshin.
In May 2012, it was decided to restore the original design and historical character of the building at 10 Pushkin Street. Minnikhanov instructed the Ministry of Culture of the Republic of Tatarstan to develop technical requirements for the construction company which will carry out the restoration. It is intended to house a Feodor Chaliapin museum in the building where he was born.
