Ilsur Metshin heads a meeting of the working group on urban development in the historical settlement of Kazan

Today, a meeting of the working group of the commission on urban development in historical settlements took place at the Executive Committee. Fifteen projects for the construction and reconstruction of facilities were submitted for consideration. The meeting was headed by the Mayor of the capital of Tatarstan, Ilsur Metshin.

Ilsiyar Tukhvatullina, the chief architect of Kazan, spoke about the construction and reconstruction projects. The list of submitted projects includes the construction of office buildings at the following addresses: Malaya Krasnaya str., 2/37, letter B, Rustem Yakhin str., 4, Lebedeva str., 2, Podluzhnaya str. (site 57), Podluzhnaya str., 47.

It is planned to build houses along Astronomicheskaya str., Saidasheva str. and a number of individual residential buildings along Fatkullina str., Pekhotnaya str., Poperechno-Podluzhnaya str., Karelskaya str.

In addition, reconstruction of the buildings of the Kazan State Theater for Young Spectators (10 Ostrovskogo Street) and the medical and diagnostic center (13/30 Astronomicheskaya Street) is planned.

Thirteen facilities were approved for further consideration at a meeting of the interdepartmental commission on urban development in historical settlements with the participation of the Rais (Head) of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov.

The meeting was attended by Olesya Baltusova, Aide to Rais of Tatarstan, Natalia Prokhorova, Acting Chairman of the Tatarstan Committee for the Protection of Cultural Heritage Sites, Albert Salikhov, head of the Vakhitovsky and Privolzhsky districts, Sergey Mironov, head of the Kirovsky and Moskovsky districts, members of the commission and others.
