Kazan and Tatarstan children to take part in Cirque du Soleil show
(KZN.RU, April 22, by Alisa Rozanova) Children of Kazan and other Tatarstan cities will be able to appear together with the renowned Cirque du Soleil performers in the daily show held in the Universiade Park. This was announced by the mayor of Kazan at a staff meeting. According to Ilsur Metshin, the decision was made by City Hall together with the Canadian circus management.
An open casting for the children of Tatarstan and neighboring regions will be held in Kazan. "I am confident that there will be many of those wishing to appear together with the top performers of Cirque du Soleil. This is a unique opportunity for our talented children," concluded the mayor.
It will be recalled that the street show will be held at the Universiade Park from July 7 to 17. Admission will be by tickets to the Universiade sporting events.
