(KZN.RU, June 24, by Ekaterina Andreyeva) In the near future, the number of hotel rooms in the capital of Tatarstan will increase to 1,473 with 2,662 beds. Kazan has acquired a well-developed, modern hotel infrastructure in advance of the Universiade. Now we need to ensure a high level of personnel training and compliance with the stated number of stars. This instruction was given today by Mayor of Kazan at a Business Monday meeting. Ilsur Metshin also emphasized that the Universiade will not be an indulgence for forgiving defects in the new hotels.
“Today, there are rooms available for every taste. It is important that a hotel standard matches its stated number of stars," said Mayor of Kazan I. Metshin.
He also noted that Tatarstan had never had any problems with hospitality. "Kazan is a friendly and welcoming city, to which visitors want to come back again. We all have to work for this goal," summed up I. Metshin.
