(KZN.RU, October 29, by Renat Shirmanov) Mayor of Kazan Ilsur Metshin commented on the results of the "Traffic Jams in the Cities of Russia" survey, published by the "Yandex" analytical center.
According to the survey, the traffic situation in Kazan in September and October was the most favorable of all nine cities monitored.
"The fact that an independent source, "Yandex", has recognized the traffic situation in Kazan as being better than in other major cities of Russia is worth a lot. Needless to say, this is an extremely positive indicator not only for our residents but also for investors and everyone who wants to do business and work in Kazan," said Ilsur Metshin.
The head of the city also remarked that the positive result did not come out of nowhere. "Combating traffic congestion is our constant priority. We have put a lot of effort in order to make headway in this work," said the Mayor of Kazan.
