4,800 trees planted in Kazan within "Green Record" project in a week
(KZN.RU, November 4, by Renat Shirmanov) Since the beginning of the autumn phase of the "Green Record" project, 28,000 mature trees have been planted on the streets of Kazan. Immediately after completion of the work planned for the current year, we must start preparing for spring planting. This was announced by Mayor of Kazan Ilsur Metshin at a Business Monday meeting.
Deputy Head of the Executive Committee, Chairman of External Beautification Committee Igor Kulyazhev reported that during the last week 4,800 trees were planted in Kazan.
Ilsur Metshin instructed those in charge to prepare for spring planting in advance. In particular, the Mayor stressed that it was important to determine the sites of massive planting and purchase seeds, saplings and fertilizers.
