In his address to the forum of Eurasian city heads, Ilsur Metshin spoke about the prospects of the capital of Tatarstan's development, the republic's economic progress and Kazan's tourism opportunities. The mayor also focused on such significant projects as the construction of the city of Innopolis, the development of a special economic zone "Alabuga" and the project "Smart City Kazan."
The head of the capital of Tatarstan noted that Kazan becomes ever more popular from year to year, "a magnet for young people." "Excellent educational opportunities, cultural life, modern infrastructure, openness of the authorities and hospitality of the people have made our city one of the most competitive in Eurasia," said I. In closing, he proposed holding another Asian Mayors Forum in the capital of Tatarstan.
