Rustam Minnikhanov inspects construction sites in Kazan's historical center
(Kazan, KZN.RU, April 19) Acting President of the Republic of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov visited construction sites in the center of Kazan today. The workshop was also attended by Mayor of Kazan Ilsur Metshin.
Rustam Minnikhanov visited several sites where new buildings are planned and asked whether these plans respect the decision to restrict construction projects in the center of Kazan. During his inspection of the sites on Tihomirnov, A.Aydinov, Staraya and Petersburg streets, Rustam Minnikhanov emphasized that new buildings should not spoil the harmonious architecture of the city center and recommended that mostly low-rise buildings need to be built.
