I. Metshin: "We are ready to assist the creation of Angry Birds park"

(KZN.RU, October 8, by Renat Shirmanov) Mayor of Kazan Ilsur Metshin again met with the leadership of Rovio to discuss the prospects of building an Angry Birds theme park in Kazan. The creator of the international franchise, Peter Vesterbacka, described in detail the company's experience. Following the meeting, the parties expressed their serious intention to continue working on the project.

At the beginning of the meeting, Peter Vesterbacka thanked Ilsur Metshin for the warm welcome and tour of the city, which was arranged for the guests yesterday.

"This is my first visit to Kazan and, hopefully, not the last. I loved the city, its residents and local atmosphere. The impressions were highly positive. Most of all, I was impressed by the beautiful architecture and efficiency of the infrastructure," said Peter Vesterbacka .

The Rovio representatives demonstrated the parks built in various cities around the world. Among them are parks of various sizes, indoor recreational areas, as well as neighborhood playgrounds and mini soccer fields. There are more than two dozen such facilities.

"At the moment, Angry Birds parks are among the most recognizable in the world. We look forward to Rovio's decision to build a park here and are ready to give all necessary assistance in this matter. Besides, we aim to develop tourism, and the construction of an Angry Birds park in our city will promote the brand Kazan at international level," said the Mayor of the capital of Tatarstan.
