In 2022, 43 residential buildings were renovated in
the Sovetsky City district. This year, the work will be carried out at 44
residential buildings, where more than 13 thousand residents live. Roman
Fatkhutdinov, head of the administration of the Sovetsky district, reported
about this to the Mayor of Kazan Ilsur Metshin at the Business Monday meeting.
Roman Fatkhutdinov
reported that last year in the Sovetsky district, under the Our Yard presidential
program, work was carried out at 61 yards, where more than 20 thousand
residents live. This year, 51 more yards will be renovated. He noted that in
2022, 416 thousand square meters of new housing were built, which is almost 50%
of the total built over the year in Kazan. The head of the district
administration also stressed that it is impossible to imagine the work on the
improvement of the yard territory without dismantling illegally installed
garages. Over the past 3 years, more than 1,100 of them have been demolished.
In 2022, more
than 27.5 kilometers of roads were renovated - 22 streets of the Sovetsky
district. One of the large-scale projects is the construction of the
Voznesensky Tract. For high-speed traffic, it is planned to build two tunnels,
three underground and one aboveground pedestrian crossing.
The planned
capacity of the Voznesensky Tract will be 140 thousand cars per day. In 2023,
it is also planned to complete the first stage of construction from the
Ametyevskaya highway to Pobedy Avenue. The total length of the six-lane highway
will be 11.7 km.
The head of the
city noted that with the improvement of the Voznesensky Tract will allow to
increase the level of comfort, speed of life and business development. “Quite a
long time ago we started discussing the renovation of some territories. The
first site was the district of Kazan, bounded by Pobedy Avenue, Zorge, Adel
Kutuya and Rodina Streets. Today, it seems to many, especially schoolchildren,
that this has always been the case but before it was a declining industrial area.
While now it is a beautiful neighborhood of Kazan,”- Ilsur Metshin commented.
Roman
Fatkhutdinov emphasized another global infrastructure project, which is
currently being implemented in the Sovetsky district – the second metro line.
Also at the final stage of development is an important project for residents of
the new complexes Svetlaya Dolina, Leto, Noksa Park, Green and Vesna – an
interchange on the Mamadyshsky tract, which will allow it to unload and
increase the speed of departure from the settlements and residential complexes.
