Kazan to mark City Day with another improved public garden
(Kazan, KZN.RU, August 1, by Adel Galiev). Kazan Mayor Ilsur Metshin inspected the Kazanka river waterfront near the family center "Kazan", where landscaping is underway.
The mayor was informed that the work was proceeding according to plan. Sprinklers have already been installed and greenery will be planted closer to the fall within the "Green Record" project. It is planned to plant 81 trees in three rows. In addition, hardscape will be installed, flowerbeds laid out and the road will be lit up.
Ilsur Metshin noted the contribution of the municipal unitary enterprise "Trust Gorvodzelenkhoz" to the improvement of the recreation area and thanked its CEO, Roza Zabbarova. "While inspecting the city together with the president, we noted the updated Bulak canal and the blossoming trees planted in the "Green Record" project. This is the result of your long-term work as the head of Gorvodzelenkhoz." It is also good that our investors, philanthropists and industrial enterprises are getting involved in this work. Thanks to them, Kazan will truly blossom!" said the head of the city.
Ilsur Metshin said that during the inspection tour, the RT president noted the beautification of the recreation area near the "Kazan" family center and asked whether the landscapers had enough time to give Kazan residents an updated garden by August 30. The mayor was assured that there was no doubt about it and that Kazan will mark the Day of the City with yet another improved public garden.
