This year,
almost twice as many trees as in 2022 will be planted in the Aviastroitelny and
Novo-Savinovsky districts of the capital of the republic of Tatarstan. This was
told to the Mayor of Kazan Ilsur Metshin at the summing-up meeting on the
results of the work by the head of the district administration Fanis
Nurmukhametov.
In 2023, new
green spaces will appear on Gavrilov, Dementiev, Kopylov, Leningradskaya, Milya,
Sibgat Khakim, Chelyuskin, Chetaev, Chistopolskaya and Chuikov Streets,
Yamashev Avenue and other sites. In total, over 2 thousand trees will be
planted, lawns on an area of 30 thousand square meters and flower beds on an
area of 8,400 square meters.
Fanis Nurmukhametov
reported that in 2022, as part of the compensatory landscaping, 1,136 trees,
966 shrubs, 8.4 thousand square meters of flower beds and 3.6 thousand square
meters of lawn were planted in the districts. New green spaces appeared on
Adoratskogo, Belinskogo, Belomorskaya, Bichurin, Volgogradskaya, Vorovskogo,
Golubyatnikov, Dementiev, Izhevskaya, Pobezhimov, Sibgat Khakim, Fatykh
Amirkhan and Chetaev Streets.
65 trees and
more than 1 thousand shrubs were planted near the Big Blue Lake, the
improvement of which began last year as part of the Mirrors of Tatarstan
eco-project. As reported by Fanis Nurmukhametov, last year the strengthening of
the shores of the lake was completed, the wooden bridge was renovated, hiking
trails were equipped, outdoor lighting elements were installed, as well as video
surveillance cameras. The construction of a service center is
also underway.
